Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Stand Up Paddle Boarding also known as SUP has rapidly increased in popularity to become one of the fastest growing water sports in the UK due to how accessible it is getting out on the water and into natural surroundings.

Stand Up Paddling has become the popular choice of activity for those wanting to explore not just the ocean, but also inland lakes, rivers and harbours.

Here at Surf South West we are ideally situated to be able to take advantage of the many beautiful waterways that the North Devon Coastline has to offer. Offering a completely different experience to surfing, our Stand up Paddle sessions will allow you to explore the many hidden caves, coves and rivers in our local area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

All our SUP instructors are qualified through the International Surfing Association to teach you the foundation techniques of stand up paddling. They will not only guarantee your safety, but ensure that you learn the basic skills of the sport in a fun and stimulating natural environment.

We offer two options depending on your ability. Our introduction sessions will get you up and paddling, but once you have the skills, why not try one of our two hour paddleboarding sessions taking in a coastal tour or river experience.
